I'd like to pass along a note about the fantastic care I received (and continue to receive) at Vision Point Eye Center from the scleral lens team of Dr. Huettemann, Barb, and Erin. As a new patient with a long struggle with keratoconus who is unable to wear glasses, I was very much in need of a new solution but very concerned with the difficulties I had read about in getting fitted for scleral lenses. I found the VP team via Google and made an appointment with great apprehension. Well . . . wow -- what a great experience. It began with great explanations of the process from scleral technician Barb, who then stayed late that evening to run me through the initial fitting process. That was followed (in the same appointment) with Dr. Huettemann spending a great deal of time checking the initial fit and prescription with the trial lenses. Amazingly, I walked out of that very first appointment with a trial set of lenses that fit decently and the VP team had already submitted the order for my first set of custom-fit lenses. The lenses came in about 5 days later, and again I received great care and attention from Dr. Heuetteman and the second scleral technician Erin, who had taken the time to create a nice packet of materials on how to care for my new lenses and what solutions to use. The team analyzed the fit and prescription on the first set of lenses and determined that we were close to perfect. A few adjustments were made and a second set was ordered. Again, about 5 days later the lenses arrived and I went in for a third fitting and checkup. Perfect. So, after only three visits, the VP scleral team had me custom-fitted with a new set of scleral lenses and the comfort and vision were nothing short of amazing. Best vision I've had (including at night) since I was diagnosed with keratonconus, and the comfort is superb -- I can easily wear the lenses for 16 hours per day. And the great customer service has continued. Recently I asked Erin for help with getting deposits off the lenses and she came up with a method to get it all done via overnight mail if I needed to do it. Then unbelievably I lost one of the lenses down the drain and after a quick call to Barb, she had a replacement lens manufactured and overnighted to me. Wow. In summary, I highly recommend Vision Point Eye Center, and specifically the scleral lens team of Dr. Huettemann, Erin and Barb -- a combination of detailed attention to patient needs and care coupled with great customer service. --Mark C

This experience was so rewarding! I wish I would have done it sooner. From my first conversation on the phone with Nancy, then my first visit and then onto Lasik surgery. Elsi Rodriguez and Dr Dunn have taken such good care of my husband during a terrible experience with shingles in the eye. We've had to go to Visionpoint many times during the past few weeks. Everyone has been so kind and helpful but Elsi is a rock star in the making. Thank you for your kindness and caring nature every time we come in. We needed it during this stressful time. I came in today to get Lasik with Dr. Dietrich and I could not be happier. From my evaluation with Nancy to Megan holding my hand and helping me get around to the exam room the experience was unbelievable. I highly recommend visionpoint and look forward to seeing clearly and without glasses since the 3rd grade lol. Thank you all so much
