For context, I am a patient with keratoconus who had crosslinking about 10 years ago. My experience was very positive with visionpoint as I was looking for contacts after struggling with glasses for a long time. My vision is definitely managable without assistance but the quality of life isnt the greatest. When I went in, they recommended scleral contact lenses which are good as they sit above the cone on my eye. The process for learning how to insert and remove was difficult but the staff there were very patient. It was a frustrating thing to learn but man, when it worked it was night and day. They are very comfortable to wear and almost eliminates all of my ghosting (seeing double vision of things). I will say that the procedure for getting the right fit also takes awhile. I had an initial appointment to order the lenses and 2 more over the span of about a month or so to get the fit right. My insurance (VSP) covered almost all of it as it was medically necessary. I would recommend the facility. The staff was kind and helpful and they answered all of my questions. They also told me they would be starting doing crosslinking procedures there. If you have keratoconus, I highly recommend getting the crosslinking done. The procedure is scary and unpleasant but the results speak for themselves. I got my surgery about 10 years ago, and my vision has completely stopped degrading since.

Natalie Lade was very polite and professional. She was super efficient and she obviously knows what she is doing which made me feel comfortable. Kudos to Natalie. I suggest a pizza party in her honor, whatever pizza she picks.

Great for routine exams and the Lasik process was fast and easy. Awesome experience and super impressive! Megan was very helpful and explained everything about the Lasik procedure itself. She took me step-by-step through the surgery and told me everything about what to expect afterwards. She took care of all of my questions and was thorough with all of her information. The surgery itself was so fast and effortless! Dr. Pinter did a great job in surgery to explain everything that he was doing and all of the staff was so helpful and reassuring. Recovery was a breeze and the experience was amazing! Definitely recommended!

There has been no business in my life that has provided me with as consistently phenomenal service as this one. I'm going to say it: VisionPoint Eye Center of Bloomington, IL is the peak of optometry. Here are my reasons and anecdotes that lead me to believe so, listed in order of importance: - Staff is extraordinarily friendly, helpful, welcoming, entertaining, basically any positive adjective you can think of. Everyone I interacted with was great (in person and on the phone), but big shout out to my main team: Erin and Teresa in contacts, and Maddie and Samantha in optical. - My contacts team went through several appointments, contact lens brands, and prescriptions until they found a perfect fit for me. I really appreciated their care and patience in the entire process. - Old glasses I bought (not from VisionPoint) were giving me contact dermatitis, but I needed a pair of backup glasses before leaving town. In a pinch, I went to VisionPoint to see if they could put the lenses into some new frames. They found me a frame that fit my lenses perfectly, were hypoallergenic, and were very affordable. Seriously a miracle. I could have cried. - Super transparent about pricing, expectations, and timelines. All of my questions were answered very clearly, and I was never caught off guard. - VisionPoint was the only eye clinic in town (and in many other towns across the U.S. that I had considered going to while I was traveling) that would allow me to start my contact lens fitting without redoing my routine eye exam (and having to pay out of pocket for a repeat exam). I thought this flexibility was very unique and saved me a lot of money. - Very spacious, clean, well-lit space. Atmosphere is incredible. I would live at this eye clinic. I had been a patient at Gailey for over a decade, and they are great, but VisionPoint has stolen my heart.

Amazing staff, great facilities and an an incredible result! I really enjoyed my experience with getting Lasik at Vision point! I went from not being able to see 5 feet away from me without glasses to 20/15 in 17 hours!
