All of the staff have been efficient and professional. Dr. Pinter is friendly and reassuring. I had lasik in 2002 and all went well after a a minor glitch. Although an appointment takes a long time it isnt because Im waiting but because the exam is thorough and is made up of many components. I did have a problem with the optical department and have started going elsewhere for glasses, but I received no hassle about it and getting my prescription was easy. Im looking forward to your move and new affiliation. Hope it all goes well for you.

I have been going to McLean County Eye Center for the past 15 years. Very knowledgable doctors, friendly and professional staff. Take a strong interest in developing a relationship with each patient... not just their eyes!

If you have tried to get eye glasses and been told that you cannot get corrected to 20/20 vision by glasses anymore, I cannot urge you enough to schedule an appointment with Dr. Huettemann and his team. For nearly a decade I went with poor vision, even with glasses, until I visited McLean County Eye Center. The team there was one of the best I have seen and the technology was impressive. They fit me with Scleral Contact Lenses and worked meticulously to get the best fit. I can now see with 20/15 vision. The world truly is a new place with better vision. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment.
