Eye Doctor in Bloomington, IL
Originally from Farley, IA, Dr. Willenbring earned her degree in Biology from the University of Iowa and her Doctor of Optometry at Indiana University.
She has completed specialized training in the field of binocular vision disorders and vision therapy. Dr. Willenbring is a member of the American and Illinois Optometric Associations and welcomes patients of all ages. She offers specialty contact lens services for high astigmatism, bifocals and young children. She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.
The best parts of working in Optometry, according to Dr. Willenbring, are helping children reach their full vision potential, watching families grow under her care and building trusted relationships with her patients.
In her free time, Dr. Willenbring and her husband enjoy spectating their three children’s extracurricular activities. She also enjoys playing cards, gardening, cooking and entertaining family and friends. She is a Hudson Elementary PTO Member, a nursery caregiver at St. Patrick’s Church of Merna and a frequent volunteer at Unit 5.
