When to seek urgent eye care

It is important to seek out medical care if:

• You have new, persistent pain in your eye
• Your eye is notably red
• Your vision is blurry, or you’ve had an increase in light sensitivity
• You notice a recent mucus coming from the eyes
• You have other symptoms such as a fever or achiness
