Exceptional experience at Vision Point Eye Center truly life-changing!I recently had the Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) procedure with Dr. Pinter at Vision Point Eye Center, and the results have been nothing short of a miracle. Before the procedure, my vision was so poor I couldnt even tell which direction the giant E was facing on the eye chart. Today, with the lenses implants Im seeing 20/15 for both distance and near crystal clear for driving and reading.This was absolutely worth every penny. The entire team at Vision Point was fantastic from start to finish. The check in team was exceptional - such friendly service and made me comfortable when I was most nervous. Special shout-outs to Megan, Nancy, Ginger, Alex, Alesha, and both Jessicas. Everyone provided such compassionate, patient care, and made the whole process feel supportive and professional.Ginger stands out in particular she gave me the single best explanation of how my vision works that Ive ever received, and Ive been going to eye doctors since I was five years old. Her clarity and thoroughness made a real difference.If youre considering laser corrective surgery, I cant recommend Vision Point Eye Center and Dr. Pinter highly enough. Grateful for this new chapter of clear vision!

Some eye clinics advertise that they provide excellent eye care for special eye problems and fall short as i have experienced on a few occasions in the Peoria area. Vision point is just the opposite. As a retired teacher, it is worth the extra travel time to go to Vision Point for my special eye needs. Their staff is helpful and friendly and their doctors take the extra time to communicate and help you reduce costs for medication. I would recommend anyone who has had poor experiences with their present eye specialist to drive a few miles more to experience what I experience. Trust your doctor again.

I cant say enough good things about our VisionPoint experience and Heather Hooks (in Billing). My husband and I were just a few days out from our annual eye appt, when Heather called to alert us to the fact that insurance coverage seemed to have lapsed. Basically, we learned that our Cobra coverage had not been activated. Heather made several calls on our behalf so that we could get it straightened out before our appt. She was extremely pleasant throughout the process, diligent in sorting out conflicting information from insurers and kept us informed of progress and resolution. Just great!

I would give Vision Point 10-STARS if possible! I recently had LASIK performed at their facility and all I can say is - WOW!!! The process was smooth from start to finish. Nancy is AMAZING! So caring and considerate of her patients. She walks you through every step of the way, not missing a single detail! Scheduling was quick and easy. Testing to ensure I was a candidate was also quick and easy. Fast forward to the day of surgery and Dr. Pathak and team were a well oiled machine. My husband spectated from outside the room and he said that everyone in the room knew what the others were doing and every movement was seamless. They kept me informed of the process every step of the way to help keep me calm! There was a moment early on where I felt like panic could set in when my eye was pinned open and the machines were all up in my face, but the teams presence and soothing words helped keep me at ease and calm. During my follow up visit, they anticipated my vision to be better, but seemed over the moon excited when I was seeing at 20/15 vision a little over 12 hours post surgery! BYE BYE READERS! Nancy was my biggest cheerleader. I could feel her excitement bubbling over in the room. Her care and compassion is second to none. I debated over this decision for over a year and now that Im on the other side, wish I had done it much sooner. If youre on the fence and have the ability to do it, DO IT!
